Sustainability
Sustainability is no longer a trend – it’s becoming the new standard. At Würth, we believe that real progress starts with collective action.
“Climate-neutral and sustainable companies, products, and supply chains will be the new standard.” – Robert Friedman, Chairman of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group.
We have a globally shared responsibility. That drives us forward and that’s why we are actively working towards climate neutrality: through renewable energy, zero-emission mobility, and smart resource cycles. From solar-powered screw production in Austria to green energy at Würth España – our journey is well underway.
With THE CIRCULAR WAY, our intention is to highlight the opportunities and potential that active environmental protection and the sustainable use of resources represent for companies in the Würth Group and how we can achieve these objectives together and in cooperation with our customers, suppliers, and employees. Doers wanted.
We take responsibility - The Circular way
At Würth, sustainability means more than reducing emissions. It’s about rethinking how we design, use, and reuse materials. That’s why we are embracing the Cradle to Cradle® design principle – a smart way to create products that can be returned to the environment or reused in high-quality cycles.
Instead of following a linear model – where resources are taken, used, and thrown away – we support a circular economy. Here, waste is not created in the first place. Whether it’s through biodegradable materials that return to nature or technical solutions that allow almost 100% of product components to be reused, we aim to keep materials in use and reduce environmental impact.
